the pale african #instagramspotlight

so this chick is some model i follow on instagram named adesuwa aighewi. she dons the handle "pale_african" (which is cool cause she's a mixture of nigerian, chinese and thai descendants), and she brightens up my feed with pictures of her and her twenty something year old cool ass friends doing what kidults do for fun. she also sometimes posts pictures of her on site at photo shoots and stuff. when i googled her name, i also learned that she's the chick from Childish Gambino's "Heartbeat" video, here's the link if you haven't seen it. LAZY piece of OAF

I love the internet because when I come across something I think is interesting or want to learn more about all I have to do is look it up and read. So I was on tumblr (what else is new) and saw a picture of some girl with this cool bandana collar and my first thought was "ooh i want this". So I clicked the source link and was redirected to a page filled with beautiful prints, models and great photography. I wanted to share some of the images of their clothing because I think a brand's ability to market and advertise their clothing the right way is more important than just being able to make cool clothing... that's also essentially why i'm so excited about going into the field of marketing and advertising in college. It all just looks really fun and bright, I posted pictures from the website, but if you  look at Lazy Oaf's tumblr here you'll see some of their cooler editorial work.

The Adonis Bosso Story

so I'm not really into celebrities... or like a huge fan of anyone or anything, but idk Adonis Bosso has been my current obsession for like the past month now. A couple days ago my skating program had our annual fundraiser at Lasker Rink in Harlem. Minutes before we get ready to go on and perform I see this guy who (at the moment) I thought was Adonis Bosso. I was like OIWHORPWJPAIBFOW and lowkey lost it... turns out it was the cousin of one of my guy friends -____- but anyway I tweeted Adonis and he responded and I sort of fainted out of my chair. Wanna look at pictures of him? Yes? Okkk

he's from Ivory Coast (a country in West Africa) but he lives in Montreal and he started modeling when he was 17, he's like 21 or 22 now andddd i just think his face is so adorable. also his cheekbones are unreal, but he probably only likes cute model girls, but a girl can dream....

what to do when u get bored with being on covers of vogue

i have this list of celebrities that can basically do no wrong in my eyes, kate moss is one of them. she's a pretty recent member to that group of people, but she's rising up the rankings pretty quickly. when i was at barnes and noble last saturday (for literally 12 hours might I add), I peeped one of her new books and it just made me want to go find and photograph her. unfortunately i know this isn't going to happen, at least not any time soon. so the book is basically a compilation of lots and lots of photos from some of her work, it was published with 8 different covers (as seen below) in early November. anyway, I skimmed through it and flipped to random pages and sections, but I'm definitely going to go back and really check it out cause reading and looking at stuff like this is just inspiring to me, anyway here are some of my favorite photozz .
